Donate to help Tracy Hamby

Hi, my name is Lauren and I'm fundraising for my family, friends, and loved ones on behalf of Tracy Hamby. Tracy has been a friend and mentor for as long as I can remember and he is a very talented poet, artist, teacher, and photographer. And now he needs your help.

Sadly, Tracy had a massive stroke at the end of June and at least one more since being hospitalized. The left side of his body is completely unusable at this point and he is 100% dependent on others. Unfortunately, Medicare will not cover all of his costs. He is facing approximately $2k to $4k per month in out-of-pocket expenses for his care and desperately needs our help.

During his hospitalization over the past two months, he has developed bed sores, is often confused and cannot feed himself or function without assistance however he is finally able to speak again, which is a good sign. Tracy will need to be moved to a skilled nursing care facility to get the care he needs and continue his recovery. He has already spent most of his savings and his insurance will not cover the cost of needed care. Please consider donating any amount, no matter how small, to help Tracy.
