Help Tommy Whittey on his long road to recovery
Spende geschützt
On Sunday May 14th our son Tommy was in a horrific accident. A truck turned right in front of him while he was on his motorcycle. He was transported to a trauma center. He has been in critical condition but stable as of now. He has suffered two collapsed lungs, fractured ribs, fractured pelvis, lacerated kidney, a hole in his colon, they have had to remove some of his small intestin, and his left arm is in a horrific condition. They are still trying to save his arm and hopeful he will be able to keep it. He has a lot of nerve damage, a big chunk of his bone is missing. If it was not for the works of God putting a pastor that is medically trained at the scene prior to EMS and officers arriving. He put a tourniquet on his arm without that, he would not be alive today. He will be receiving donations of nerves that will be replaced in his arm. Tommy is in ICU now they had to stop surgeries and put him in coma to really give his body some rest. He is incubated with machines breathing for him. He has an extremely long road ahead of him with a long stay in ICU, and months an month in a rehabilitation physical therapy center. Which will be helping him over come this physically, mentally, and emotionally. With that being said we would appreciate any donations to help our family with medical bills and anything needed for Tommy at this time. If you can not donate we would love and appreciate just a pray. Thank you.
