Our beloved Timber needs your help!

Timber is my life and is fighting a sudden and serious health battle. What started as a seemingly minor issue has quickly escalated, leaving him in severe pain and requiring urgent, specialized veterinary care.

What Happened to Timber?

Just a few days ago, Timber was his usual happy, energetic self. But then things took a turn for the worse. He started showing signs of discomfort that rapidly worsened. After multiple vet visits, including an emergency visit last night, we are hoping the diagnosis is a potential slipped disc in his neck.

Timber spent the night at the emergency animal hospital, and unfortunately, his condition has slightly declined. He's currently receiving around-the-clock care from an amazing team, who have started him on steroids and pain medication (currently fentanyl). We're praying that this will be enough to stabilize him and start him on the path to recovery.

The Road Ahead: MRI and Potential Surgery

If Timber doesn't respond positively to the current treatment, the next step is an MRI to get a clear picture of what's happening in his spine. If the MRI confirms a slipped disc or reveals another serious issue, Timber will need surgery to relieve the pressure on his spinal cord and give him a chance to walk again.

The Financial Challenge

This unexpected emergency has put a significant strain on my finances. I have pet insurance for Timber, but we are rapidly approaching his annual coverage limit of $10,000. I have family members that are currently helping me with a loan which I'm very grateful for. The current treatment plan is nearing this threshold. An MRI, should it be needed, will add significant costs on top of that, and surgery is estimated to cost around $15,000.
