Rhieana and Mike are not your average couple.Rhieana was a vivacious 36 year old mother of 2 girls, Mike a hardworking 61 Yr old. 2yrs ago Rhieana had surgery on her back that left her a quadriplegic,with absolutely no use of her body neck down, needing 24 hr care. Not long after a serious infection took Mike's leg leaving him wheelchair bound. Everyday is a struggle for this couple with Mike being responsible for Rhieana's constant care.

They are in desperate need for medical and assistive technology items that can make their everyday life easier. Rhieana requires a panic button and verbally responsive telephone, a way to open her door for workers and friends in order to be safe when left alone They also require smart home devices that can be managed by voice commands There are other assistive devices needed for her everyday care,such as an upgraded hoist and sling. Other large expenses for the couple are daily medical and personal hygiene supplies and everyday household items. Because of these daily necessities they have fallen behind on their rent and utilities putting them at risk of losing their much needed accessible unit.

They are a remarkable couple,Mike an extremely dedicated partner, taking on the daily care of Rhieana, who manages to stay positive and supportive to Mike. I can't think of a more deserving couple. Please donate and share this page.
