Support Tom casserly in aid of Zambia
Donation protected
The St. Benildus College Zambian outreach programme is a student led initiative, focused on supporting the Nsobe Trust School & the wider Nsobe Community in the Zambian province of Ndola. This year long venture culminates in an entirely self-funded two-week period of service in Nsobe. During this time, Transition year students work on vital infrastructure projects like construction of new classrooms, as well as community outreach initiatives & classroom placements assisting local teachers. Last year through various appeals, the boys raised an astonishing €20,000, with every cent donated going directly to supporting the families in Nsobe.
This year’s cohort are asking you to help build on last year’s fantastic work to surpass this amount. While the raising of funds is the primary aim of the initiative, our students will also learn many valuable life lessons as there’s no greater privilege than to be able to help someone less fortunate. As a school, we embrace a Lasallian ethos which in part strives to develop a sense of civic responsibility & agency in our student cohort to actively combat social issues both at home & abroad.
We hope that you can join us in our efforts and support the boys in their endeavours to help others.
We thank you kindly for your support.
