Donate to help the WCHS Band and Colorguard

We are asking for your generous support to help all our band and colorguard students achieve a positive life-changing opportunity. The Band Parents Association (BPA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides opportunities for students to have an enriching performing arts education and opportunities beyond those that the West Covina High School (WCHS) can financially provide. We need your help!!

The BPA’s mission is to support music education in WCHS and provide the highest quality educational, performance, and competitive opportunities for WCHS band and colorguard students. The BPA wants every WCHS student to have the chance to participate and excel in the performing arts equally. Fundraising has always been vital to the band and colorguard program since the WCHS does not require participation fees. With your donation today, you will be helping us rebuild the program, and it will provide a unique opportunity to change a student’s life and provide them with a life-changing experience.

As we plan for the fall, there is no going back, only forward. The post-pandemic years have been a “rebuilding” and “re-planning” to support the young performers working hard to achieve their musical goals and excel in the performing arts. We continue to reconnect with band and colorguard students, and we believe we are turning the corner to bring back the band and colorguard program to the road of normalcy.

Your donations will help pay for tournament entry fees and music for the field band and colorguard, indoor drumline, indoor colorguard, jazz ensemble, wind ensemble, and symphonic band; student uniforms and prop materials for field and indoor competitions; snacks and meals for students during fall and indoor shows; and transportation. The annual expenses, for the current band and colorguard program add up to over $20,000. With your help, we can succeed!
