We are a small group of Mary Megan's many friends asking for prayers and financial support for the "Van Scive’ Five", as she calls them.
 
With Mary Megan's unwavering support, Eric has been surviving stage III colorectal cancer since Christmas of 2020. The past year has been full of ups and downs as he was aggressively treated for a cure. Eric navigated the effects of rapid radiation, chemo, related surgeries, and life with an ileostomy. With every milestone came complications. 


Most recently, Eric was fighting an infection which led to a sepsis alert and urgent surgery. Further scans, scopes, biopsies and procedures will be followed by another major surgery this summer. Time away from work continues and the medical bills are mounting. 


This sweet family is perpetually jumping from crisis to crisis and are in a space of needing support. Please send prayers and good vibes for the hurdles they have yet to overcome, for strength, peace and hope among them, and for Eric to experience no further complications so he can get back to living life and making memories with his family.
