Dear Friends and Family,

It’s not often that we reach out for assistance, but our family is in a position where we truly need your support. We are planning a move to Ohio to be closer to family, especially so that my mother can spend more precious time with our kids. The urgency of this move cannot be understated.

Our son has autism, and the resources here are scarce to get him the proper care he needs. This move will allow us to connect with better support systems that can truly make a difference in his life.

While we have managed to save a little, the logistics are proving challenging. Jason is tirelessly working over 50 hours a week, often being on call. This makes maintaining a steady job for me nearly impossible, as employers are understandably reluctant to work around such a schedule. Additionally, my efforts to sell crochet crafts have yet to bear fruit, and my primary duty as a full-time mother and educator to our young children takes precedence.

We are humbly seeking contributions to help cover our moving expenses. This includes renting a U-Haul and car trailer, managing the skyrocketing gas prices, and covering the costs of utility setup at our new location. We also need assistance in executing the move itself, given our responsibility for two children and four large dogs. Furthermore, many of our current furniture items desperately need upgrading.

A small cushion to allow us a bit of comfort in the initial days post-move, before job obligations kick in, would also make a substantial difference for us.

Asking for help is not easy for us, and if there were any other way, we would pursue it. Our steadfast goal is to move forward without falling into debt, aside from the home we intend to purchase. We proudly own our one car, and it's our hope to maintain financial integrity as we embark on this journey.

In return, we promise to give everyone a huge hug and host a housewarming party once we settle into our new home.
