(Latest update 10/5 at 3:10 PM PST: the prayers are all working: Sarah is stable and has been just been transferred to a new hospital where they have a ENT specialist taking care of her to determine next steps… she is off the ventilator and on oxygen now and recovering well! Her family is so grateful for all the prayers and generosity ❤️ truly amazing how incredible her circle is and how selfless perfect strangers are as well… thank you for having Sarah and her family in your thoughts and prayers as she continues to heal…. Hi, I’m Whitney and I’m raising money for Sarah Powell and her family. She is an amazing wife, mom of 3 little kids (Brayden, Abby, and Madilyn), and incredible coach and friend. On Monday Oct 2nd, Sarah went in for a hysterectomy and when she came out of surgery, the unimaginable happened.

….. Her airways swelled, pulse dropped to nothing, and they had to intubate her to save her. They got her stable and sent her home but that night it happened again so her family rushed her to the ER where she’s been put on breathing tubes, feeding tubes, and every other life saving measure.

The cause is still unknown and there are many tests ahead and hospital time and a long road to recovery for Sarah and her family.

I am starting this campaign for Sarah and her family for all the medical bills, physical therapy, recovery, childcare, food, and unforeseen costs that will come as she recovers from this horrible incident.

Even the smallest amounts will help

…. and fun story, what I LOVE about Sarah is she is always the one who is starting these campaigns for others who have been in terrible accidents, who have lost their spouses, and all the other horrific tragedies that happen with being the spouse to someone who puts their life in danger every day on the job to protect others.

… so now it’s HER turn at the Powell families’ turn to be on the receiving end of such generosity and love from her friends and family and perfect strangers who have a heart to help Sarah and her husband and children.
