On Saturday, November 4th, Ismael Padilla -lovingly known as Ish to his friends and family- suffered a stroke at just 43 years of age. Fortunately, he communicated his symptoms to his wonderful wife, Nohemi, and made it to the hospital before catastrophic stroke symptoms began. Still, he is facing several deficits from the stroke including vision, cognition, speech, and mobility. While his prognosis for recovery is good, there are still many unknowns.

Ish and Nohemi are incredible parents to their children, Sophia (7 years) and Dominic (2 years). They are uncertain of when, or if, Ish will be able to return to work. In the meantime, their young family has everyday expenses and bills to pay, not to mention the growing medical bills they will have as a result of this life altering event.
