Donate to Help the Ocoee River Guidebook Project

Hi, my name is "Fast" Fred Ruddock. I am a longtime river guide and kayak instructor. I have been building and maintaining the Ocoee River Guidebook for nearly a decade. I am aware many outfitters are using this material to train their new guides. I often hear positive feedback from private boaters. I have invested many hours and bought a lot of equipment creating this resource over the past decade. Additionally, this has been a very difficult year financially speaking.

I have done a lot of leg work over the summer with the intent to greatly expanded the depth and detail of the media explaining rapids and lines. I also added the kayak lines over the past season. I expect this next phase to take many more hours of full time work. Help me continue the commitment to improve this guidebook and put in the needed hours.

I would appreciate some substantial support from the commercial interests benefiting from my efforts. However I am a realists and understand my best hope is small donations from private boaters and guides that have benefited personally.

I am currently living near the poverty level and work far too many hours providing high quality experiences. I'd like to make at least $20/hour to make this effort sustainable. All donations large and small will be greatly appreciated! If you support this effort please share.
