The Linklater family is facing a very difficult life challenge.

 

Sadly, Scott is not well and requires brain surgery. Surgery will take place next week with the best surgeons at UCLA Hospital. This procedure will require a lengthy recovery and numerous medical appointments.

 

As you know, Scott is a treasured husband, father, brother, friend and means so much to so many. Scott and Alison have two exceptional children, Noah age 12 and Zach age 9 (almost 10). Alison is a dedicated second grade teacher at our local elementary school. She has taken a leave of absence to be home with the boys and care for Scott. Scott can no longer work to help financially support his family.

 

With the Linklater’s permission, we are undertaking this fundraising campaign and appealing to you to donate whatever you can so that the Linklaters can focus on Scott’s care and recovery.

 

All donations will go directly to the family to help ease the financial burden during this trying time.  Donations will be put towards Scott’s medical expenses and help the Linklater family with their day to day and household expenses to help cover loss of wages and allow the family to focus on Scott's recovery.   

With Alison and Scott's permission, donations are going into an account set up by Allen Devers in Alison and Scott Linklater's name.  Allen Devers is Alison's father, Scott's father-in-law and Noah and Zach's Papa.
