Hi, I'm Danny (or DJ). I'm trying to raise money to help my parents with my father's recent medical emergency. Around two weeks ago, my dad, Danny Johnson, had a stroke. My brother rushed him to the hospital, and things weren't seeming to be the worst-case scenario. Since then, he's had another major stroke while in the hospital, which has affected him dramatically. He has been a mechanic since he was 14, and he loves it. The second stroke seems to have resulted in him not being able to work again, as it has affected his motor skills. The right side of his body was severely affected, and at this time, he cannot walk and is having trouble with speech. At this point, he may not ever turn a wrench again or fix another car. This has him devasted.

Tomorrow, he is undergoing what the doctors have said is a "life or death" surgery. I'm just trying to do what I can to help. If you're from Sumter, you likely know my dad or know of him. He always brings laughter into any room he walks in. There's never a dull time around him. He can walk into Truck Supply, Car Quest, or even just Walmart and I guarantee you he made someone laugh.

Currently, he's most worried about his five grandkids (and the 6th who's on the way) like always, so I'm trying to help them in any way I can. If you can spare even a few dollars or share this post, it would mean the world to us.
