Hi everyone, my name is Jessie, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother, Karl, my sister in law, Julie, and their sweet four-year-old son, Hunter.

At just 24.5 weeks pregnant, Julie went into unexpected preterm labor. Thankfully, doctors were able to stabilize things, and she is now hospitalized under strict bed rest as they do everything possible to help her keep the baby in as long as they can. Depending on when he decides to arrive, a NICU stay may still be ahead.

Julie is a hairstylist and small business owner, which means being hospitalized has also meant an immediate stop to her income. She won’t be able to return to work until after the baby is born and she’s recovered—whenever that may be.

Karl is doing everything he can to keep life moving—managing bills, caring for Hunter with tremendous help from family and friends, and being by Julie’s side—but the financial strain is starting to build.

I’m setting up this GoFundMe to help ease that burden so they can focus fully on Julie’s health and their baby’s safe arrival. Funds will go toward cost of living, medical expenses, and helping this wonderful family stay afloat during this incredibly uncertain and emotional time.
