UPDATE: We are mourning the very sudden and tragic loss of Rachael, who was killed in a flash flood incident on May 25th. Your donations are going directly to Ben. Thank you for giving to this family that has been struck by tragedy twice now. Updates on services for Rachael will be forthcoming.
Many of us know Ben Floyd as a friend or an incredibly courteous acquaintance. Some of us have worshiped with him at church, or even seen him professionally as a therapist. He's engaged with us in memorable conversations, or told us witty jokes. He's shared stories with us of his life as a father and husband. He's been there for us when we needed help, and now it's our turn to help this loving and generous family. Ben has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer–he has a high grade astrocytoma with piloid features in his cerebellum. We hope that this fund can provide the Floyds with one less thing to worry about as they navigate the next chapters of their lives together.
A few things about Ben:
-Ben is a father of three little boys, Joshua (4), Gilead (2), and Mayhew (1)

-Ben is a gifted conversationalist and communicator. No one feels unseen in his presence.
-Ben is a loving husband to his wife, Rachael, and a devoted son to his parents
-Ben is a Mississippi State alumni and fan
Professionally, Ben has seen many couples and individuals through difficult crises just like this. Because Ben is self-employed, he is unable to earn money to support his family. Please keep this in mind.
