Many in Battle Creek Academy's community may have heard about the tragic accident involving our Principal, Dr. Ranjan Fernando.

On Sabbath, June 17th, 2023, Dr. Fernando and his son were involved in a serious car accident. Ranjan sustained significant injuries and is currently in the hospital. We solicit your prayers for Ranjan at this time as well as his family as they support their father. Currently, there is no more information to share, and because the accident happened recently, we are waiting to understand the extent of the injuries and the recovery process. We plan to provide further updates as we receive pertinent information as we're able to.

Dr. Fernando thrived on sharing his love for God, Science and Education. He is known internationally having lived in many places around the globe. Since his wife's passing a few years ago, Dr. Fernando has been the cornerstone for his three children here in the US. The funds raised will help his children with growing medical bills as well as food, transportation and housing.
