Donate to help the family of David Johnson

Hi, my name is Jill, and I am fundraising for the family of my former colleague David Johnson. Mary Johnson lost her husband of 34 years unexpectedly on June 1st, 2022. David, 61, was found dead in the front yard of their home by their grandson, Brian, upon returning from work in the evening. Mary was still at work. The cause of death has not yet been determined. The Coroner said the results of the autopsy would not be completed and compiled for 3-4 months. The family cannot access his modest life insurance policy until they have the cause of death. This is a huge hardship for Mary and their special needs grandson, Brian, whom has lived with them since his birth, and is much loved. They had recently moved from SC to TN to provide a better forever home for Brian. The "final expenses" have to be paid upfront, and Mary has done that, but is now tapped out. She has not been able to work for the last week.

David was well known, and well liked in the nursery industry he was a part of for 38 years. He was very good at the sales work he did. He had recently lost two of his main suppliers for his independent sales representative business. I'm starting this GoFundMe project with the hope that his friends, and industry colleagues will be willing to contribute to help Mary & Brian.
