Donate to help the Elmendorf Family with Recovery
Donation protected
On Sunday, December 18th, 2022, just one week before Christmas, my dad, Mike Elmendorf fell from a ladder severely injuring himself and his ability to work. Mike was doing a roofing job with his other son, and my brother Josh when the ladder failed and he fell over 20 feet onto hard pavement.
He sustained severe bodily injury while my brother was injured in an attempt to catch my dad.
Among his injuries include a broken femur, broken back, shattered heel, and abdominal and head injuries.
He has always been a hard worker and put his family first, but this injury at his age will be difficult to recover from financially and physically. My mother and he have worked hard their entire life to earn their own while being honest God-fearing Christians. They always give back to the community when they can and there are not many who do not feel the love and support my parents are always trying to give back.
At his age, recovery will be long and hard, but I am asking for the support of those around us to help if they can as the medical bills are already prohibitively expensive. He is taking his injury positively and not giving up, a trait friends admire most in him.
We are currently asking for $10,000 but will be happy to receive any amount as the medical bills are likely to easily exceed $100,000 even with insurance. The money donated will help my parents with their day-to-day expenses as my mom works and my dad recovers. The money will also go to the sizable and large amount of medical bills.
Anything can help. Thank you. God bless.
