Donate to help the Darnell family

Hi, my name is Dimitrios and I am fundraising to help out the Darnell family. They have been dealt a devastating blow. Their youngest son, Carsen who is 11 years old has been diagnosed with a tumor in his spinal cord. The surgery is scheduled for Tuesday September 26th. Due to the location and size of the tumor, surgery is very risky but never the less the only approach. The surgeons will be separating muscles and will open several vertebrae. Metal plates will be used to put his vertebrae back in place. The surgery is expected to last 10-15 hours. There is a possibility that Carsen will wake up completely paralyzed from the chin down and will be on machines to pump his blood and lungs and other vital organs. If all goes well he will wake up with most of the tumor removed, needing chemotherapy and radiation and weeks or months of rehabilitation to learn to use his arms, fingers and possibly legs.

We ask for prayers for Carsen that God will guide the surgeon's hands and spare Carsen's life.
