Donate to help the construction of our new church

To whom it may concern,

My name is Eric Mametieff. I’m a member of the community and a representative of the Church of St. Nicholas in Nikolaevsk, Alaska. Nikolaevsk is a Russian Old Believer community that was first established in 1969. When the Russian Old Believers (my ancestors) first settled in the area that became known as Nikolaevsk, they intended to find a place where they could practice their religion freely. The church is a religious and cultural center of the community, where the community’s cultural values are expressed in the traditional practices of the Old-Rite Orthodox Church. The community has outgrown its original church and has since been working towards building a new, larger church. While there has been significant progress made so far. Unfortunately, the church has run out of funds to continue the project.

On behalf of the Russian Old Believers in Nikolaevsk and the parishioners of the Church of St. Nicholas, I humbly ask that you support the community in completing the project by donating however much you can.

This money will go towards purchasing needed supplies for the project.
