Donate to help “The Birdman” pay for medical cost

Hi, my name is Angel and I am the niece of Richard Charles but many around the city know him as “The Bird man.” Many of you may have seen my uncle walking up and down Pleasanton on the Southside of San Antonio carrying his handmade cardinals and selling them at all times of the day no matter what the weather. With his unique hats and bright red cardinals it surely is impossible to not spot him from far away. Many of you may have also spotted him on the Westside of San Antonio around his shop where he works very hard creating his wooden birds. Just recently my uncle has been suffering from a toothache that quickly turned into an unbearable pain. He was taken to the dentist where he was told that his tooth was infected and the infection had spread to other teeth in his mouth and to his nose and that if he didn’t have the teeth extracted the infection would continue to spread to his eyes and brain. He has now undergone the extractions of eight of his teeth and is now being treated for the infection at the hospital with antibiotics and an IV. He is still in pain and not doing well. The dentist said he is very ill and the infection is very serious. My uncle Richard works hard to help others and he has always been that way his whole life. He is the most selfless person I know and is in need of help to pay for this emergency medical procedure. He won’t be able to make birds for a while as his recovery time is uncertain. With your donation you will be helping my uncle, “The Bird man”, tremendously and each donation is extremely appreciated at this time. We hope that he will be able to recover quickly and be back out there doing what only “The Bird man” does best and that is selling his cardinals. Thank you for your time in reading this and thank you for your donations.
