Donate to help the Bencsik Family

Hello,

This fundraiser is in place to assist the Bencsik family through one of the most difficult times of their lives. You may recognize members of this family, Frank and Cindy Bencsik, along with their children Nate and Calvin. This family has lived in Huntingdon for most of their lives, contributing to the community every day. Cindy currently works at Burger King in Huntingdon, while Frank owns the Sadie Hill Farm Construction company. Those who reside in Huntingdon might also recognize this family from the elk farm raised in their back yard. Within the last year, this family has faced multiple tragedies, starting with the death of Christie Marie Webb-Bencsik on Sept. 29 2022 after a long battle with cancer. Christie was 27 when she passed, with her family and husband by her side. The photo you see above is a picture on their wedding day held in Hershey Medical Center on Sept. 28 2022. Nate and Christie were together for 14 wonderful years, with Nate and his family beside Christie every step of the way, fighting cancer not once, not twice, but three separate times. After this devastating loss, Nate returned to work with his father at the Sadie Hill Farm Construction Company. Unfortunately, tragedy has once again struck the Bencsik family. Frank Bencsik has been diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer in December of 2023. Frank is currently hospitalized with an infection located in his port, where he was receiving chemotherapy. This fundraiser will assist with medical expenses, food and utilities, as both Frank and Nate are unable to work at this time. We sincerely thank you for any support.
