Hi, I am a friend of Herschel and Alyssa Battle. I am raising money for Herschel and his family. He was diagnosed with stage 4 renal medullary carcinoma around 7 months ago, and has spent the last 7 months helping others, becoming a father to their new newborn, and courageously battling his cancer. He enrolled in a trial that gave us great hope. The strong medications he was receiving in the trial are unfortunately not working, and he passed peacefully Wednesday night surrounded by his family.

Funds will be used to support his children, any outstanding medical expenses, and end of life expenses.
