Donate to help Thaitan fight Neuroblastoma

Hi, My name is Taneisha Duffour, I am fundraising on behalf of my neighbor and very dear family friend, Thaitan Vinyoopongphan and his family. Thaitan was my son's very first Potomac Shore neighborhood friend. As we all can relate in our tight-knit community, neighbors quickly become family and that's just what Thaitan is, our family.
Thaitan was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma a rare form of cancer. Thaitan was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at the very young age of 5. The family was shocked to learn of this diagnosis while vacationing in their native land Thailand. Due to this diagnosis being very sudden and unexpected. Treatment began immediately. Thaitan, his mom Vissy and dad Kris begin a long journey of treatment that successfully led him into remission at 8 years old.
Thaitan is a shining star that lights up every room he enters. He is a swimmer and soccer player. He also enjoys Pokémon, video games, and a good game of Uno with his neighborhood friends. A fun fact about Thaitan, he loves Krispy Kreme donuts, so much so, he regularly delivers a dozen of glaze donuts to all his close neighborhood friends every single trip!
Thaitan is Kris and Vissy‘s only child and they have unselfishly dedicated their lives to his fight against cancer. This past, Tuesday, I received a text from Vissy that I was not expecting. She informed me, Thaitan’s cancer returned and he, unfortunately, had to restart treatment immediately. Receiving this information, not only shook me but the rest of our neighbors and together we decided to fight with them! Our goal in setting this fund up is to relieve the Vinyoopongphan family of the stress due to the unexpected finances related to his treatment and allow his family to focus fully on caring for their only child during this difficult time.
No amount of support is too little or too big. Please find it in your heart to help our dear friends WIN THIS FIGHT!
