Hi, my name is Stephanie. My mom, Teresa, recently had dental surgery to remove seven teeth from her lower jaw. The dentist told us she had level 4 periodontitis, also “called gum disease, [which] is a serious gum infection that damages the soft tissue around teeth. Without treatment, periodontitis can destroy the bone that supports your teeth. This can cause teeth to loosen or lead to tooth loss.” As stated by the Mayo Clinic, my mom already had loose teeth for some time so they had to remove them before she developed any more serious conditions, like a stroke. She will also need work done to the top half of her mouth but this will be done after her lower jaw has healed.

My mom is a hard-working individual and deserves the most, especially being in this country for such a long time. She's a helpful neighbor to all and loves to help out in her community; she would greatly benefit from all of your support.
