Sweet Pea came to us in 2017 from a breeder who passed away suddenly. Sweet Pea was scared and very shy. She would sit and watch everything, not sure what to think or do. Since then, she has blossomed into a wonderful, sweet, and loving girl. If there is a warm lap around, she is there for a warm cuddle and a short nap.
Sweet Pea now needs our help and yours. She has developed a large mass on her lower abdomen. It has been growing at a fast rate. Her veterinarian, Dr. Frank Frucci from City Park Animal Clinic in Fort Collins, has done a radiograph and said he didn't see any signs of metastasis. His report says, "mammary mass inguinal associated with inguinal mammary gland, but extends distal almost to her vulva at least 12 centimeters in diameter."
Sweet Pea is hurting and it's getting harder for her to walk with this mass. We do have pain medication for her, but she desperately needs this removed.
My husband is gravely disabled and only has his social security disability. I have my social security retirement but hardly enough to make ends meet in this economy. The surgery estimate comes to $1965.13 and $135.00 for her initial visit. You can donate directly to my vet Dr. Frank Frucci. I also have Venmo @Michelle-Boswell-59. Please help our sweet girl feel better if you can. Anything helps.
