Hi! For those of you who don’t know our story, this is our baby Nala. On Friday 3/14 she escaped our fence and was missing for 9 days. We desperately searched for her and were starting to think she was gone forever when on the 10th day she showed up at our back door! Unfortunately however, her back legs/feet were badly injured, requiring intensive vet care and a stay at the vet hospital. We are thinking she either was caught in a trap of some sort or somebody had her and she escaped. She has been at the hospital since Sunday when she returned home and the plan is for me to finally get to pick her up tonight. As of today our vet bills have reached around $1000, but Nala will be required to go back for rechecks and bandage changes every couple of days which will only add to our bill. We would of course pay any amount of money to fix our baby, and are prepared to do so, we just weren’t expecting these costs right around the time for our baby girl to be born. She is due in less than 3 weeks and you can imagine babies come with a lot of added expenses! We would greatly appreciate ANY donation, no matter how small. I will post a picture of the invoice when I pick her up today and if it is less (or more, hopefully not) than what we were thinking I will adjust the fundraising amount as needed.
