Jack’s Run for Charity
Hi I’m Jack, I’m 18 years old, and this summer I’m taking on one of the UK’s toughest endurance challenges: running the entire Coast to Coast Path in one continuous effort.
The route is 192 miles long, crossing from the Irish Sea to the North Sea through some of the most rugged and beautiful terrain in the country. I expect the journey to take around 72 hours non-stop, running through day and night with only minimal rest.
I’ll be attempting this challenge unsupported in pursuit of the Fastest Known Time (FKT) record . If successful, my goal could be the record for the youngest person to run tge full Coast to Coast Path in one continuous effort based on the records I’ve been able to find online.
Throughout the run, I’ll be carrying a live GPS tracker so anyone who wants to follow my progress can watch my journey in real time from start to finish.
More importantly, I’m doing this to raise money for two incredible charities that mean a lot to me. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward supporting their work and making a real difference to people who need it most.
This challenge will push me physically and mentally to my absolute limit, but with your support, I hope to turn that effort into something truly positive.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for any support you’re able to give.
