Hi, my name is Jamie (Dunn-Kermes) Harty. My family and I are fundraising to help support my sister Jessica Kermes and niece Gabrielle, 19, as Gabrielle goes through chemotherapy.

After a few ER visits earlier this year due to severe abdominal pain, Gabrielle had surgery in March to remove what they thought was a 24 cm (over 9 in!) cyst from her ovary. That cyst turned out to be a stage 3 Sertoli Leydig cell tumor. SLCT is an extremely rare form of ovarian cancer. Thankfully, the doctor believes that she removed it all, but chemotherapy is still necessary. Tomorrow, 5/2, Gabrielle starts her first of six rounds of chemo.

We want to raise funds to remove any financial burden so that they can both concentrate on Gabrielle's treatment and recovery!
