Please help us raise funds to support our beloved Darcy on his rehabilitation journey.

On the 23rd of November Darcy was in a serious boating accident which has lead to him being in a medically induced coma for 10 days, multiple fractures in his skull and face, a bleed on the brain and a severe traumatic brain injury.

As those that know Darcy, know how much of a fighter he is and he is already defying the odds. However, his journey to recovery and his new normal is going to be a very long and extensive one. Unfortunately, due to his accident being on the water and no insurance was at play, Darcy will not be eligible for any compensation. This is where your generous contribution would mean the world to us and Darcy, to help provide him with the best possible care and specialists on offer.

A bit about Darcy -

Darcy is 16 years old, with a sense of humour that can light up any room, a heart as kind as they come, and a courage far beyond his years. He’s a country boy through and through - happiest when he’s camping under the stars, casting a line in the water, out shooting with mates, or tearing around on his motorbike.

Anyone who knows Darcy knows his strength. His determination shines brightest each year at his bull-riding events, where he proves not only how physically tough he is, but how fiercely brave and unshakeable his spirit truly is. His grit, courage and refusal to back down are simply who he is.

Darcy is strong. He is resilient. He is every bit the fighter we know him to be.

He has such a bright life ahead of him, and we have no doubt he will face his rehabilitation journey with the same unstoppable determination, courage and heart that define him every day.
