My name is Dalton Borton, and i am competing in the Antelope Canyon 100-mile ultra-foot race. But I'm not just running for personal achievement; I'm running for a cause close to my heart and one that's making a tangible difference in the lives of others.
Meet Dan Markel from East Bradys Bend, PA. Dan is not just another individual; he's a beacon of inspiration and a true advocate for children facing wheelchair-bound injuries and medical conditions. Despite being diagnosed with muscular dystrophy at a young age, Dan's resilience knows no bounds. He's dedicated his life to serving his community, most recently spearheading efforts to create wheelchair-accessible areas at the local fishing pond near his hometown in western Pennsylvania.
I am honored to stand by Dan's side and support his cause. On March 9th, starting at 6:00 am, I will be hitting the trail for 100 miles, and I am asking you to pledge just $1 for every mile I run, and together, we can make a real impact. You can track my progress and be a part of this incredible journey by following the hashtag #runfordanmarkel on Instagram or Facebook until March 10th at 12:00 pm.
Your generosity will not only fuel my race but will also help Dan in his mission to raise awareness for muscular dystrophy and create more accessible spaces for his community. So, join me in this meaningful endeavor, and let's run for Dan Markel together.
Thank you for your support!
