On December 19th our good friend Sue, in her 70's went out to run errands. A few hours later she got a call to come home quick, her house was on fire. By the time she got home the fire department had extracted her 3 cats, and even gave them oxygen and mouth to mouth, but they could not be revived from the smoke inhalation. She lost her home, all her belongings, and her 3 cats. As you can see from the picture, there is almost nothing left. This tragedy comes as she was just finally recovering from a near loss of her home last year in Hurricane Ian.
Sue is a good and generous friend, always giving to others. She is also an animal lover, taking in strays that need a home. If you know her you know that her engery and joy can be tremendous, but this loss has really knocked her back. Sue is not one to ask for help, so her friends are asking for her. Any amount you can contribute will make a difference in helping Sue to rebuild. In this season of giving and counting our blessings, please help us show her some love.
