Donate to Help St. Helena and Napa Natives

Our dear friend and St. Helena native, Laura March, and her partner and Napa Native, Marc Ferneau, were seriously injured in a motorcycle collision on Highway 29. Laura March has been the Keenan Winery Tasting Room Manager since 1996, and many visitors to the winery adore her, and her friendly and down-to-earth demeanor. Marc is a carpenter and loved to be on his bike.

The devastating accident changed their lives irrevocably and, among other injuries, caused irreparable damage to Laura’s leg and severe trauma to Marc’s head. Though the path to recovery may be the biggest challenge they have faced yet in their lives, Laura is proceeding with her characteristic upbeat spirit and humble desire not to call much attention to herself, while she recovers now at home. Marc remains in the care of Stanford University recovering from major head trauma and left side injuries.

We, Laura and Marc’s closest friends, are speaking up on their behalf because we know they would never do so on their own. In the weeks and months that come, Laura will have to get training and adaptive equipment and Marc will have to do rehabilitation, in order to return to their independent lives. These necessary expenses are costly and many are not covered by insurance. As such, we have created this Go Fund Me Request to ask family, friends, and the community to contribute to their recovery.
