Donate to help Spencer

Hi, my name is MaKenzie and I am fundraising to help with expenses for my brother and his family.
As many of you know, this past Sunday evening (Easter) Spencer was in a life-threatening wreck on his way back to work. It was by the GRACE OF GOD that he is alive.

My brother has been working as a lineman for a while now out of town and was on his way back to work whenever a vehicle bowed up and stopped in front of him on the interstate. He swerved left to attempt to miss it, but instead rolled his truck twice and went down a 20 foot embankment. His phone was found later by the deputy about 50 feet from his truck smashed to pieces and his shoes were slung off his feet. You couldn’t see his truck from where it landed and he somehow managed to get himself out and crawl back up the embankment to try to flag someone down to help him. No one stopped. For about 30 minutes he tried to someone to stop before someone finally did and called 911.

He has a broken vertebrae in his spine (T9, I believe) and a broken sternum (chest area). He has bruised lungs and there is bleeding behind it. His blood has been pretty thick lately too, so having to monitor that. Lacerations are all over his body.

He is in a lot of pain- to be expected, but we thank God every day for keeping him from being paralyzed and keeping him alive.

For at least the next 6 weeks he will be in a back brace and unable to bend or lift anything over 10 pounds. He requires around the clock care, and my sister-in-law has the love, patience, and understanding of a saint. We all have been pitching in anyway we can for his recovery and helping with the kids. My sister-in-law has not been able to work while she’s been caring for him and he will not be able to work for at least 3 months…
Please do not feel obligated to donate. If you are able to donate/support his recovery, medical expenses, or monthly bills, we would greatly appreciate your help!
