Donate to Help Solo Fight His Bone Cancer

Hi Everyone! For those who know me know that History Made aka Solo or lovingly known as muffin has been a light in my life since I moved to Prospect Hill in 2021. Solo brought my confidence and love back into this sport. I was lucky enough to lease him from not one but two amazing owners and be able to compete at top rated shows my sophomore and junior year! Back in 2022, Solo unfortunately had a very bad DDTF injury and was out for the season. The owner/head trainer of Prospect Hill, Alicia Cugini, was able to buy Solo and give him a permanent home at PHF. It took us over 2 years to rehab him back, but once he returned he got to play lesson pony, attended multiple IEA shows, and show the littles what it was like to ride a big equitation horse!

Unfortunately, at the age of 21, Solo was just diagnosed with an aneurysmal bone cyst. This is a bone cancer that has eaten away at his jaw and grown a softball size cyst on the side of his face. In order for Solo to live comfortably this must be removed, and because it has eaten away at so much of his bone, he needs a bone graph from his hip. For those who own pets, especially horses, know that any sort of medical bill is extremely expensive. Solo will not only need this surgery, but will also need many many weeks of veterinary care and rehab so he can successfully heal.

I am setting up this GoFundMe because I know Solo has impacted so many more people than just me in his lifetime. He has given so much of himself to this sport, reached dreams for countless of kids/adults, and touched hearts of more people than I know. He deserves for us to finally give back to him what he did for all of us. Every penny counts!
