Hello, my name is Sheria Turner. I am 37 years old. I have 3 children. I have stage 4 Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC). I have been fighting this battle for over 5 years now. I have good and bad days, but lately, the bad days are outweighing the good. I will be going into my 7th round of treatment this month.
This diagnosis has tested me in ways I never thought possible, but I refuse to let it take away my hope, faith, or fight. I'm holding on to positivity even on the hardest days, and I know I'm not facing this battle alone.
I've always been independent, working hard to support myself and taking pride in standing on my own two feet. But treatment forced me onto short-term disability, cutting my income while medical expenses continued to rise.
I am so thankful for my support system. I'm extremely grateful for all the support I've been receiving—whether it's through calls or texts, food, giving my kids rides, or even uplifting words. Your love and kindness mean a lot to me and mine.
God Bless
