The Vancouver Rogues are a reboot of Canada's first Inclusive Rugby Club. First active from 2001-2009, and recently started up again.
The Club strives to provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive space for anyone interested in playing Rugby. We have grown from a small dedicated group of individuals to a 50+ member club with a team from all walks of life and rugby experience.
In August 2022, Ottawa is hosting the Bingham Cup, the largest amateur rugby tournament in the world. Named after Mark Kendall Bingham, one of the heroes on United Flight 93 on Sept 11th, The Bingham Cup has 80+ International Gay Rugby member teams competing from 20+ countries for a week of Rugby Madness. We have a great summer training program with some fantastic training resources at our disposal.
However, sending a team of 30+ players across the country for an entire week is a logistics nightmare, and we need your help. Hotels, Meals, Supplies, Medical Support and many other small things cost a lot of money, and our club is very new. This is where you can help.
We'd love to count on your financial support in sending our group of dedicated and talented rugby players to Ottawa to represent the BC and Vancouver LGBT communities and bring home a trophy or two!
