Hi! My name is Chloé and I run the Chloé Trevor Music Academy. We are currently counting down to December 1st to secure 30 acres of Texas land to build our own campus for the Academy. A lot of hard work and planning has gone into making this possible, but we still need your help!

The Chloé Trevor Music Academy is an intensive summer program for string players and pianists for all ages offering one-on-one instruction, chamber music coaching, masterclasses, orchestral training, and career guidance by the world's premier soloists, teachers, and conductors. The Academy was a lifelong dream of mine that came to reality in 2018. We hosted our first two extremely successful years at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX with 100 students from 10 different countries attending each year!

Unfortunately, the Academy has been on hold since 2020 as we have had difficulty securing a hosting campus due to the pandemic. We have explored many options such as hosting smaller versions of the Academy at Airbnbs and even our own house, but they have all proven too difficult logistically especially considering the uncertain state of the pandemic over the past 32 months.

I had always dreamed of buying land and building my own campus for the Academy but assumed that goal would be unattainable for many years - possibly decades. While waiting for in-person concerts to return I have spent countless hours looking for land and envisioning a future for the Academy. In October I came across a property that unbelievably fit every item on our checklist. We visited the property in person to see if it lived up to the listing - it was incredible.

After a lot of spreadsheets, discussion, and prayer, we put in an offer that was accepted with a closing date of December 1, 2022. It has been a whirlwind of a month finding all of the funding for the downpayment and closing costs, and we’re nearly there! We need some extra help to push us past the finish line and make sure that the Academy is in a good position financially to build and run future camps. Our hope is to build on the property and run a small version of the Chloé Trevor Music Academy in the summer of 2023.

Your donation will make the ultimate vision of the Chloé Trevor Music Academy become reality rather than a far off dream. We hope to eventually host music camps and events year round for students and professionals alike. We also plan to expand to include all orchestral instruments beyond strings and piano. We want to get students out in nature, connecting with the earth, animals, and other musicians as they learn the deeper meaning of what it is to make music in this life.
