Help Scott’s beautiful family

Donation protected
Scott Ladley is a very much loved and respected Sports Coach in our community and has been for many years. The founder of Nxt Gen Activities operating in different schools, including King Alfred’s.
With his enthusiastic and vibrant personality, encouraging and positive attitude, endless kindness and love for others, Scott has been impacting many of our children’s lives daily, instilling in them a love for sports, a sense of achievement and success; as well as teaching the importance of becoming good team players, and always supporting others.
It is our turn to give back, to help this exceptional young man during difficult times…

Scott has recently been diagnosed with high grade T - Lymphoblastic Leukaemia at the young age of 45. The tumour has wrapped itself around the arteries of his heart and spread to his stomach and bone marrow and he is looking to receive chemotherapy throughout the next year. Adding to the challenge that Scott faces is the fact that he doesn’t have a spleen. Due to being hit by a car at a very young age Scott has had to live without a spleen.
This can make recovery more complicated, and for certain will negatively impact the speed of his ability to heal and provide for his family.

Scott is a devoted father to his 3 young children who are 6, 4, and just 2 years old. He is also a deeply caring husband, so this news has been difficult to receive and hard to process for all of them and everyone who knows him.

But Scott is a true warrior, and we have no doubt he will win this fight!
We want to help increase Scott’s chances of success; to support him on his journey so he can focus on healing and not be overwhelmed with the stress of making sure his home and family are financially taken care of in spite of his illness.

A group of very grateful KAS parents have decided to raise funds enabling Scott to fully focus on his lengthy recovery by easing this strain and pressure of having to provide for his family, and additionally to cover any childcare/medical expenses that are likely to arise along the way.
Please contribute with as little or as much as you can, either as a private person or organisation. Your generosity and benevolence will be highly appreciated and cherished.
