The cancer returned, and Scott is now undergoing an even more aggressive treatment plan. Scott is now preparing for major surgery to remove cancerous growths from his lungs and abdomen.

Daily life has become increasingly challenging. Liv, who balances her role as Scott’s primary caregiver, has had to step back from her career as an elementary school teacher to protect Scott from illness, especially during flu season. The emotional and financial strain of managing his treatment, travel for specialist care, and maintaining their household has been overwhelming.
