Donate to help save the Turtle River Watershed from CLP.

This GoFundMe effort is to benefit The Rice Lake Association (www.ricelakeassociation.org ) to purchase an Eco-Harvester to clean Rice Lake (& other lakes).

Our goal is to purchase an Eco-Harvester in the $120,000 range to remove Curley Leaf Pondweed (CLP) which is an invasive species, from Rice Lake. Left unchecked this invasive species will move downstream through the Turtle River Watershed into Pike Lake, then Lake of the Falls, then into the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage and beyond. Left unchecked CLP will starve our lakes of oxygen, decimating the fish population and ruin one of Wisconsin’s natural resources.
