This is Potato, one of the sweetest cats anyone has ever met. Over the past few weeks, he has been struggling with his health after a stray cat fight incident that left the tip of his tail torn. After getting him the stitches he needed, he developed a high fever of 107 that doesn’t go down. He has been in and out of his primary vet clinic and emergency clinics with no explanations as to what is happening to him, and the bills just keep piling up. The only recommendation we have from the emergency clinic is to take him to an internist specialist who could be able to run deeper and specific tests to find out a cause and treatment plan. These specialists are not cheap, and we simply do not have the funds, so we ask anyone who is willing to lend us a hand in helping Potato go back to his healthy, loving, rambunctious, and energetic self. We're starting with a $5,000 goal based on average internist costs, but will update as soon as we have a firm quote from the specialist. Any unused funds will go toward helping other cats in need.
