Donate to help save our Dad

Hi, my name is Edina and I am the youngest of three daughters. Our dad found himself in a situation while visiting Hungary where he needed to go to the ER. He is declining rapidly in health at this point due to a rampant infection that is spreading. He is not a permanent resident in Hungary, so he does not qualify for insurance through the state. His MediCare is not eligible overseas. He is self pay at this point, and as a retired man he lacks the funds to be able to pay for treatment. He currently is without family in Hungary and is not able to properly care for himself or make decisions regarding his health. We worry for his health and future there from overseas. He is currently a flight risk due to his poor health and is not able to board a commerical flight back home, despite him being able to recieve superior care once here.

We are starting this GoFundMe on behalf our dad to help him with medical bills he has acrued so far, and continues to. We also would love to be able to send at least one of us overseas to be there with him and help care for him so that he can get enough strength to come back home to the United States for better healthcare. He is a loving father and grandfather and has always put his family first so we know that having one of us there with him would make all the difference.

Hungarian: Szia! Edina vagyok. Jelenleg az édesapám Magyarországon tartózkodik beteges állapotban. El kellet, hogy menjen kórházba fertőzés miatt, ahol el lett távolítva három lábujja meg a lábából egy rész. Még mindig nincs jól, a fertőzés még tart és feljebb ment a lábán.

Azon kívül a lábán mindegyik seb nyitott, ezért szüksége lenne kitisztítani, többet eltávolítani a lábából, összevarrni és gyógyszert kapni. Mivel nincs magyar biztosítása és nincs magyar állandó lakcíme nem tud normális ellátást kapni és egyik kórház se hajlandó segíteni. Az amerikai biztosítása pedig nem használható külföldön és mivel már nyugdíjas nem tudja fedezni az önköltséges ellátást.

Egyedül van és szüksége lenne segítségünkre döntéseket hozni az egészségével kapcsolatban. Nagyon izgulunk miatta, egyelőre járóképtelen és nem tudna visszautazni az USA-ban. Ezért kezdtük testvéreimmel ezt az adományozást, hogy fedezzük az idáig összegyűlt és jövőbeli költségeit, találhassunk ellátást neki és esetleg egyikünk tudjon Magyarországra utazni édesapánkkal lenni lelki támogatás céljában.

Abban reménykedünk, hogy nem sokára talál olyan orvost Magyarországon, aki hajlandó kezelni, hogy az édesapám annyira felépüljön tudjon utazni. Minden adományozást megköszönünk, mindenféle támogatást (pl. ennek az adományozásnak a megosztását) megbecsülünk!
