Hello friends and family. This is Ashly Stubbs Some of you might know me and my Family. We are reaching out to the community for help. As you may already know, my Father James Stubbs passed away in late November of 2019. Leaving behind four daughters, a Son and our widowed mom. His sudden death devastated our family and we have been trying our best to continue with everyday life. My dad was a hard working man who was the sole financial provider of our family. Our Mom Lilie not only works to manage a home for her family but also works hard every day caring for her two special needs children. Our eldest sister Leslye is wheelchair bound, diagnosed with Rett Syndrome along with many other health conditions. Our 11 year old brother James Jr. is diagnosed with Down Syndrome and severe Autism. Both require 24/7 special care.
Our dad grew up in Mexico. For many years it was his hope and dream to move his family to his hometown. Raising his family he loved and cared for. Our dad worked hard, sending his additional savings to build a small home in Mexico and to have some pecan trees planted and taken care of. However after a year and four months of his passing we have been charged an unexpected amount of $46,000 of debt. When our father James was alive we were all unaware of this amount until after my father’s death. Without my dad here to clarify actual amount due; the outstanding amount was taken as a shock. Since our father’s passing we have been struggling financially. We work together as a family to take care of each other the best we can. We’ve had some family members support us through these tough times. On April, 2022 this amount was required to my Mother to be paid in full within 6 months. She is now facing the fear of losing what we have left. Unfortunately, we are in no financial position to pay what is due in time. So as a last resort we are asking for outside help to save the inheritance our Father James has worked so hard to give us. We would greatly appreciate any help for this cause. Any donation big or small will be a huge help. Thank you!
