I have created this page to provide some much needed and deeply appreciated funds.

My name is Lauran. My Son attends Rise, where one of the gorgeous management team, and educator Samara is currently in the fight of her life.

Earlier this year Samara noticed what she thought was an ulcer on her tongue, this turned out to be tongue cancer. With her amazing spirit fueling her, she conquered surgeries to remove and reconstruct her tongue, whilst also undergoing chemo and radiotherapy. Part of her recovery was learning to speak and eat again.

Sadly, 2 weeks ago Samara and her partner Greg learned that the cancer returned, this time in her lungs. Devastatingly, this diagnosis is terminal.

Along with a lot of people I've spoken to, I wanted to do something, to show support to Samara and Greg.

With your help and kindness, I am hoping to raise funds to alleviate immediate stresses for Greg so he can be with Samara without worrying about day to day expenses, and to allow them to spend all their time together doing what Samara wants to do, plan to travel the world and make amazing memories.
