Hi everyone, my name is Eden and I'm from Australia. I have made this fundraiser for a friend of mine who is a mother in Gaza. Due to financial restrictions in their area, Palestinians have needed to rely on activists overseas to make campaigns for them.

I have video verified this family, so I can assure you that this fundraiser is not going towards a scammer.

Samar Al-Ajla and her children live in a small tent surrounded by tarpaulins, fabrics, and corrugated iron. They sleep, bathe, eat, wash, and hang their clothes out to dry in the same place. There is no decent shelter for them to remain protected.

Her children are Reza (7 years old), Rital (5 years old), Yahya (3 years old) and Qasim, a 7-month-old infant. Qasim needs milk and diapers regularly, and Yahya needs treatment for his injured head and also has bowed feet.

Their previous home was completely destroyed by the apartheid occupation, so the family have been resorted to living in destroyed houses and tents, often being displaced multiple times.

Samar's mother-in-law suffers from diabetes and schizophrenia. After her husband was martyred, her mental health was gravely affected, and extensive treatment is needed for her mother-in-law to recover.

Due to the continued blockade of food and aid into Gaza, market prices are rising in high intensity. Places of work are also more difficult to find because of the scale of destruction.
