Hello/Aanii! My name is Karma/Paige and I've created this GoFundMe to ask for some help/assistance covering medical and living expenses for my mother, Samantha. My mom has unfortunately contracted her second near-fatal pneumonia this year, and spent 5 1/2 days in the ICU before being moved to her current room in the Internal-Medicine Unit in hospital to recover for a while. Due to my mother's current state in the hospital, and many outside factors contributing, this has put us in quite a tricky spot financially - affecting not only our ability to keep our home, but the large and vast amount of out-of-hospital care my mother will require. Due to a lack of sufficient income because of a pre-existing disability - caused by a past stroke - that has made her un-fit for work, and myself being a college student currently, we are having a hard time making ends meet in our present situation in regards to rent, home-care and potentially long-term care, as well as other related medical expenses and cost of living. It's going to be a long, hard road to recovery, so we are graciously asking for any donations we can get to aid us in these unprecedented times.
