SAFE, an organisation powered entirely by the goodwill and dedication of local volunteers, has once again stepped up to rescue two innocent lives - foals Franco and Thierry - who were perilously close to losing their fight for survival. Little Thierry, in particular, was so critically unwell that a single additional day without aid might have claimed his life. Thanks to SAFE's swift actions, both foals were rushed to the veterinary hospital, where they are now in the care of a 24/7 intensive care team.

These fragile young horses are battling a grim list of conditions: dehydration, anaemia, severe infection, fluid in the abdomen, starvation, and an overwhelming parasite burden. Their resilience is remarkable, but their journey to recovery is long and costly. This is where your kindness and generosity can make an immeasurable difference.

SAFE operates entirely on donations and their own fundraising efforts, ensuring that every penny is spent directly on the rescue, care, and rehabilitation of horses like Franco and Thierry. Although their resources are already stretched to capacity, they could not turn their backs on these foals in desperate need. Now, they are reaching out to the community for your support.

Your donations, regardless of size, will go directly toward the hospital and ongoing veterinary care costs for Franco and Thierry. Every contribution counts and accumulates to provide these foals with the second chance they deserve. Should there be any surplus funds, they will be allocated to the care of the 31 other horses currently under SAFE's protection.
