Donate to help Russ receive a new prosthetic.

Hey everyone. As you know, back in 2021 I had to have my left leg amputated due to an infection brought on by diabetes. At that time I got a prosthetic leg, which was covered fully by Medicaid.

Move ahead to today. The prosthetic leg that I have needs to be replaced, as I am having issues with it and is just not suitable for use. In fact, it is causing pain and limiting my mobility even more. This is caused for several reasons, such as my weight loss over the last four years and the fact my residual limb has changed shape since the surgery.

So, the decision has been made to acquire a new prosthetic. However, I am now on Medicare and have to pay part of the cost myself.

I don’t usually ask for help from people, but, in this case I have to ask. I’m a required to pay right about $1000 as my portion of the cost. If you know anything about prosthetics you know they are very expensive. I know it’s a tough world right now, but if you can help me out I will be forever grateful to you.
