Hi, my name is Kathleen Aurelio and I'm starting this fundraiser for my beautiful friends, Ruby and AJ Velasquez.

We never think the impossible could happen to us, but it did to them. On June 27th, their house burned down and they lost EVERYTHING! The fire came from a burning tree behind their house that was next to a power line, and the transformer blew. They heard neighbors screaming "FIRE!", and then things moved very fast for them. Thank God they are safe, and were able to get out unharmed. But, unfortunately, they didn't have rental insurance, so they literally have to start from scratch. AJ lost all his computers (with all the programs and files) that he uses for school and work. So far, the only items they were able to salvage was a bag of clothes that were in the outside washer and dryer.

This GoFundMe will help them tremendously to buy clothes, find a permanent place to live, and help furnish their new place.

Ruby and AJ are seriously the sweetest, most compassionate people ever! They would give you the shirts off their back! So I would love to help them as much as I possibly can!
